I grew up in this world
being brought up by my nan
I never knew my story
But it never seemed to have an end.
Nothing ever made much sense
as you throw things together and make a huge mess
You all claim it as the truth, when it was all pretend
now you sit alone in that empty old house
that you don't own
drinking your tea and watching tv
